The main objective of the initiative was to organize a Trilateral Conference Georgia/Moldova/Ukraine on preventing trafficking of RN material in the Black Sea Region and to identify common needs and priorities. The project helped Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to identify regional gaps and future joint actions to prevent the trafficking of RN material in the Black Sea Region.
The main objective of the project is to improve the capability of state security and law enforcement officials to devise, plan and carry out intelligence operations to thwart radiological and nuclear (RN) trafficking attempts and to foster regional cooperation.
